Abstract: This book reviews the latest experimental results on jet physics at the LHC by means of a multitude of observables illuminating different aspects of QCD like the interplay with predictions involving new coloured matter, the coupling strength, or the gluon content of the proton, which constitutes a significant source of uncertainty in predictions of Higgs boson production. A novel approach used in this book is the classification of these observables into the three categories of absolute, ratio, and shape measurements; the advantages of each category and the differences between them are clearly pointed out. The significance of each observable is elaborated with the help of numerous illustrations.
