Abstract: The main goal of this project is to build a 3D multiplayer cooking game using the Unity engine and powered by Netcode for GameObjects. The Netcode network system can support real-time interaction between multiple players at the same time. The main goals include: • Implement a multiplayer system that supports both server and client roles using Netcode for GameObjects. • Provide player with two gameplay modes: o Single player: A mode that allows one player to experience the game offline. o Multiplayer: A mode that requires the use of a network, where players can join together in real time. • Set up a reliable server storage system, in which: o The server can start the game and manage player connections. o Client can connect to the server, synchronize the game state, and play together. By the end of this project, I set target to build a multiplayer game to demonstrate the mechanic of a cooperative cooking game, while showcasing the capability of the Unity engine and Netcode for GameObjects in handle real-time multiplayer gameplay.
